What are the latest CPRX updates?

January 2023 Update

CPRX depositing, buying and selling remains paused while we work on improving CPRX liquidity. However, Abra now offers the option to withdraw CPRX directly to an external wallet/exchange. The withdrawal minimum for CPRX is 20,000 plus the network fee. 

October 2022 Update

Abra is in the process of launching better ways to trade via Market orders, price protection, and in the future limit orders.  During this upgrade, we will be temporarily suspending deposit and withdrawal of CPRX, including transferring in and out of Boost CPRX for several weeks.  Once we finish upgrading all of our users to the improved trading system, we will turn CPRX deposit and withdrawal back on.

June 2022 Update

Abra has paused CPRX buying and selling while we work on improving CPRX liquidity. This is an extension of the changes made on June 1st, 2022 at 11:59 PM PST, when we scaled back the Abra Perx program by pausing Trade cashback, Earn yield booster, Borrow cashback, and *referral rewards. 

What does pausing CPRX mean to you?

If you choose to continue to hold your CPRX with Abra, you will NOT lose your balance and you will continue to generate 3% APY on CPRX held in your Abra Boost account. You have the option to withdraw CPRX to an external ERC-20 wallet.

However, CPRX deposits are still on hold at this time.

Abra and the Crypto Banking Alliance (CBA) are working on listing CPRX on additional exchanges and allowing Abra users to trade CPRX. We expect this process to be complete in late 2022. 

Why is this happening? 

We understand that this pause may create frustration, but please know that we are working tirelessly to grow CPRX’s utility and community, along with the next generation of rewards for everyday activity. Our team is working on new ways of using CPRX and are planning for 2022, including discounts when paying fees in CPRX for advanced order types and access to our upcoming DeFi and NFT experiences.

We paused CPRX trading because of the current low liquidity of the CPRX token but we expect to re-enable trading before the end of the year. We plan to re-enable this functionality when CPRX is listed on additional exchanges in late 2022.
