The application process for Prime Trust is separate from Abra’s existing Know Your Customer (KYC) process. Prime Trust must personally verify every customer for whom they hold funds.
In order for Abra to offer multiple products, we partner with Prime Trust to do so. In order to link a bank account directly to the Abra app (US users only), utilize our wire program (available to both US and International users), or utilize our Borrow product, you must apply and be approved by Prime Trust to do so.
You can apply for Prime Trust in a number of ways:
Link a bank account:
Tap: Add Money
Tap: Bank ACH transfer (If US user)/Bank Wire transfer (If US user)
The app will redirect you to apply for Prime Trust if you have yet to apply.
Borrow:
Tap on the 'Borrow' icon at the bottom of your screen.
The app will redirect you to apply for Prime Trust if you have yet to apply.
Things to note when submitting documents

The document must be entirely legible (i.e., all four corners must show, no parts cut-off, no glare covering information).

Identification number fully displayed.

Full name - The name you have entered on the application must match your ID.

Date of birth -Must match the DOB on your ID.

The expiration date is present and has not expired.

For US: Your physical address (P.O. Boxes or proxy addresses will not be accepted).

For US: Drivers license preferred

If ID requires signature, please make sure it is signed

For International: Passport Only (this may change later)

For most customers, the application process takes about a minute, and the approval of your account may take a few minutes to a few hours. Some customers outside of the United States may see a small delay of a day or two.
