We have heard your feedback and as of 6/3/2020 Abra has gone back to 0-1 business days to fund your wallet. You must have the latest version of the Abra app in order to see this change.
However, Abra has made multiple changes in order to bring this back to our users.
Since Abra will credit your wallet within this shorter time frame, you will need to make sure your funds are readily available to be debited. If they are not, Abra will liquidate those funds from your wallet.
Example: You initiate a deposit for $30 to their Abra wallet on 6/1/20, at that time we applied a $30 credit to your wallet as deposits will be credited within 0-1 days. However, as ACH deposits can take 2-3 business days for your bank to process, those funds may not be debited from your bank account yet. When we (Abra) went to debit the $30 from your bank it did not go through, due to insufficient funds or an issue with your bank account.
In this case, the $30 is still owed to Abra, in these select cases, Abra will liquidate the funds in your wallet to re-pay this debt. Abra will only remove what is owed. You can always verify this information by checking your bank account. If you initiated a $30 deposit and Abra credited your wallet but the $30 was not debited from your bank account this is why Abra removed the funds from your wallet.
If you ever have any questions please reach out to our team and we can provide specific information regarding which deposit did not complete: support@abra.com
