What do the changes to the Abra app mean to New York users?

Due to recent jurisdiction changes, Abra will no longer be able to service our New York customers.

If you are a New York user, holding any assets (including BTC, ETH, LTC and BCH), on April 8th 2020, your wallet will be moved to a sell only mode.

What this means to you, if you are a New York user and currently hold any assets, you will be able to withdraw these funds to an external wallet but you will no longer be able to exchange funds within the app or deposit cryptocurrency to the Abra app.
