What is Abra’s exchange spread?

We don’t currently charge fees on currency exchanges, but Abra does generate an exchange rate income on the spread between different currencies. For instance, if you convert Litecoin to Bitcoin, or Ethereum to Ripple, there will be a small spread built into the exchange rate that you will see on the app.

Please note that the spread may vary from currency to currency, based on market conditions. 

There may be other fees involved in certain transaction types, and they are always displayed to you before you confirm the transaction. We generally don’t make a profit on fees: we’re just passing through a fee that we incur. For more information on fees, please check our fees page.
